DENVER, Colo. (June 25, 2025) – Metallica and their foundation, All Within My Hands, joined forces with the American Red Cross of Mile High earlier this week to urge fans to give back by giving blood. The two-day blood drive took place Monday, June 23, and Tuesday, June 24, at Empower Field and collected a total of 240 units of lifesaving blood.

Fans were able to watch the stage being built for the upcoming concert while donating and received a unique T-shirt commemorating the collaboration between the Red Cross, the band and their foundation, All Within My Hands. Denver was one of 11 cities included in this community impact made through blood donations. Learn more about the Red Cross and Metallica collaboration.

Metallica and their foundation provided such an incredible opportunity for new and long-standing American Red Cross blood donors to give the gift of life in Denver this past week," said Amanda Paktinat, interim regional chief executive officer of the Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming. "Our communities will have more blood on the shelves for those in need during critical summer months thanks to these generous headbangers."
