DENVER, Colo. (Dec. 17, 2025) — The American Red Cross of Colorado is opening two charging centers in Jefferson County in response to power shutoffs due to high wildfire risk.
Charging centers will be open today from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:
Identification and/or proof of residency is NOT required to be admitted to a Red Cross shelter. American Red Cross services are free and available to all regardless of race, religious beliefs, nationality, or citizenship status.
The Red Cross also encourages everyone to download the free Red Cross Emergency App to help monitor hazards and find safety information. You can find the Emergency App by searching "American Red Cross" in your app store or by visiting redcross.org/apps.
