The American Red Cross of Georgia and the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia hosted a virtual forum in support of the more than 10,000 Georgians - most of African American descent - living with Sickle Cell Disease who depend on the Red Cross to meet their lifelong need for blood transfusions from genetically similar blood donors.
This forum was created to increase awareness and provide information that can be shared with your constituents to communicate the urgent need for blood donations. Building healthy communities takes ALL of us.
