WHAT:
American Red Cross disaster volunteers in two Emergency Response Vehicles (ERVs) will be distributing emergency supplies in hard-hit neighborhoods in Newnan (Coweta County) today to help residents in the aftermath of Thursday’s devastating tornado.
WHY:
Residents beginning clean-up efforts may have need of Red Cross supplies such as work gloves, tarps, rakes, clean-up kits, and water/snacks.
WHERE:
Red Cross ERVs will begin in two locations in Newnan and circle outward from these center points, driving through neighborhoods and offering supplies to residents in need.

WHEN:
Red Cross volunteers expect to begin distribution efforts at approximately 11:00 AM and continue through the afternoon.
WHO:
Red Cross disaster volunteer ERV drivers are available for comment along their routes in the community.
(Note: The Red Cross is also feeding and sheltering residents displaced by the tornado in four hotels in Newnan.)
