The community is invited to give with meaning with the American Red Cross at the ‘Statehouse Day’ Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 15th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Indiana State Capitol in downtown Indianapolis.
“With the consistent decrease in blood donations during the winter months, it is crucial that we do what we can to build up a healthy blood supply as we head into the Spring months,” said Courtney Vanjelgerhuis, Chief Executive Officer of the Indiana Region of the American Red Cross.
Donors are encouraged to sign up and donate alongside members of the Indiana State Legislature and are welcome to enjoy donuts and coffee as well as other refreshments, while supplies last.
