The Southwest Chapter of the American Red Cross – Indiana Region and WEHT invite you to make a life-saving donation this holiday season at the “Henderson Holiday Heroes” blood drive in Henderson, Kentucky.
With the holiday season quickly approaching and the weather getting colder, the American Red Cross tends to see a decrease in blood donations around this time of year. The need for blood, however, does not decrease. About 62% of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood, yet only about 3% donates. Every donation can make an immense impact on the life of someone who needs it. As we enter a time of celebration and being grateful for what we have, roll up your sleeve to help patients in need.
