Do you like to help people? Would you like the opportunity to be there for others when disaster strikes? The American Red Cross invites you to join our disaster team as a volunteer!
We are hosting a disaster response training session in Fort Wayne on Thursday, November 9th in Fort Wayne.
During this one-day training, individuals will learn the necessary skills required to respond in the immediate aftermath of a disaster. Trainees will learn about sheltering, distribution of meals and more. Certified and experienced instructors who are members of our Disaster Action Team will provide step-by-step information to those in attendance. No experience is necessary to sign up.

Volunteers make up 90 percent of the Red Cross workforce. Our disaster volunteers are trained to respond and assist those impacted by local and national disasters, including home fires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and more.
