The Southwest Chapter of the American Red Cross of the Indiana Region is proud to announce that Steve Rennels has joined its board of directors.
Steve is a division manager for Schnuck Markets, Inc., where he leads Division 7 comprising 15 stores in Indiana and Illinois. Before joining Schnucks in 2016, he spent four years with SSM Health of Southern Illinois working in talent acquisition, and nearly 20 years with Wal-Mart Stores Inc., where he worked his way up from a Customer Service Manager to Supercenter Store Manager.
“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Steve to our board of directors,” said Beth Sweeney, the executive director of the Southwest Chapter. “Steve's experience and expertise will be an asset as we continue to serve and support communities within our chapter.”
Steve, who is a native of Mount Vernon, Illinois, has a long history of community service and has volunteered on several boards. He currently serves on the board of directors for the Evansville African American Museum.
