Kick off the new year by making a life-changing donation. The Southwest Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region invites the community to give with meaning at the ‘New Year, New Life’ blood drive in Evansville, Indiana on January4th from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Eastland Mall.
This blood drive comes at a time of the year when the Red Cross typically sees a decline in the number of donations being made. Inclement weather and cold and flu season can keep even the most dedicated blood donors away from giving a regular donation. To address this issue, the Red Cross needs donors to come out and donate. While the number of donors decreases in the winter months, the need for blood is constant. Every two seconds someone in the United States needs blood.
