Mary’s resiliency and positive spirit serve as an example to others of the beauty of helping others
On Sunday, August 6, Mary FitzGerald, passed away at the age of sixty surrounded by her loving family at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Elected to the Board of Directors of the Central Massachusetts wing of the American Red Cross, Mary was an active and dedicated volunteer.
She was also a proud member of the Dudley Women's Club, and served as a Human Resources Manager for Saint-Gobain, where she worked for thirty years. Originally from Worcester, Mary settled in Oxford. She loved to travel, especially to Cape Cod.
The Red Cross mourns the loss of such a passionate volunteer leader and an amazing, compassionate individual. The Red Cross of Massachusetts is confident that Mary’s resiliency and positive spirit serve as an example to others of the beauty of helping others.
