MEDFORD, Mass., May 25, 2020 – American Red Cross
volunteers gathered for a Rolling Rally at the Soldiers’ Home in Chelsea Monday
to honor veterans this Memorial Day.

Nearly 50 volunteers, their cars and the Plymouth Area
Vietnam Veterans Association and their welcome home Huey helicopter float paid
their respects to the residents at the Soldiers’ Home.

The event was coordinated by the Red Cross Service to the
Armed Forces program to honor the men and women who gave their lives for the
United States.

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for
honoring and mourning the military personnel who have died while serving in the
United States Armed Forces. The holiday is now observed on the last Monday of
May.
