Attend an orientation class and complete an application at www.redcross.org. Then click "Volunteer."

IMPORTANT: Click “All Other Volunteer Applications.” The other selections are for people who are living in Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

In this process, you will read and agree to Red Cross policies and provide consent to a background check required of all Red Cross volunteers. Processing applications and background checks is taking longer than usual due to the overwhelming response to Hurricane Harvey.
