CARNEYS POINT, NJ, October 31, 2021 – The American Red Cross has closed the shelter in Salem County which had been open for people affected by flooding caused by Friday evening’s storm. The shelter closed due to lack of need. The shelter had no occupants.
As of 4:00 p.m. today, the following Red Cross shelter was closed:

Davidow Hall
460 Hollywood Avenue
Carneys Point, NJ 08069
Teams of Red Cross disaster workers were in Salem County today, delivering clean up kits to residents in neighborhoods affected by flooding. Volunteers distributed 315 clean up kits in Penns Grove.
All emergency assistance is free to those affected by disasters and is made possible through the donation of time by dedicated Red Cross volunteers and the generosity of the American public.
