Disaster Action Team Trainee: Be part of a team that helps respond to provide 24-hour immediate support and assistance to individuals and families who have been impacted by a home fire or other local disaster.

Disaster Health Services Team: You can use your professional skills as a licensed healthcare provider to deliver hands-on care and education to shelter residents. Qualified licenses include RN, LPN, LVN, EMT, Paramedic, MD, DO, PA, NP, and  APRN. 

Blood Transportation Specialist: You will be the critical link between blood donors and blood recipients by delivering blood, platelets, or other blood products to a hospital. *Note: This position is statewide with travel to the labs in Fairfield, NJ or Philadelphia, PA.

Blood Donor Ambassador (Camden and Atlantic Counties): Engage donors by greeting, registering, answering questions, providing information, and supporting them through the recovery process at the refreshments table. 

Fundraising Administrative Volunteer: Help fulfill fundraising needs; chapter stewardship efforts such as mailings, thank you calls to donors; conduct thank you calls/notes to donors; office assistance; donor database maintenance.

Recruitment Volunteer: Help recruit new volunteers for general and specific volunteer opportunities. Assist in researching outreach events, fairs and community groups to set up recruitment presentations and community engagement events. 

Engagement/Recognition Volunteer: Maintain the personal touch with the volunteer workforce. Virtually acknowledge birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. Help plan recognition events.

Volunteer Screener: Screeners use their understanding of the volunteer and match it with the needs of the organization, connecting volunteers with positions for which they are both interested and well suited.

Operations Fleet Volunteer (Princeton, Tinton Falls, Pennsauken, and Egg Harbor Township): Help coordinate the scheduling, utilization, maintenance, and documentation, of American Red Cross vehicles to ensure the organization has a fully operational and deployable fleet.

Facilities Tech: Performs or coordinates the maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep of American Red Cross facilities. Requires in-person commitment.

Visual Storyteller (Photographer/Videographer): Assist the Red Cross in delivering by taking, editing, and sharing video to showcase the Red Cross at work both in disaster and non-disaster times.

Red Cross Clubs are an extension of the local Red Cross Chapter and provide young people opportunities for training, leadership development, and the ability to choose mission-related activities that address their community’s greatest needs.  Red Cross Clubs empower young people with Red Cross knowledge and lifesaving skills to help prepare their schools and communities to respond to emergencies.
