Important note on blood drive availability during COVID-19 outbreak
With thousands of blood drives cancelled due to school and workplace closures during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working hard to open new donation sites. If you don’t see available appointments in the near future, please be sure to search 7-15 days out. The need for blood is constant, and patients will need your life saving gift – today, tomorrow and in a few weeks.
Challenge yourself to 50 miles this fall to raise funds for people affected by disasters like storms, floods, and countless other crises. Throughout the Challenge, participants will receive messages of encouragement and fundraising tips via our supportive Facebook group.

How You Can Help
Your donation powers the Red Cross response to an average of more than 60,000 disasters every year nationwide, providing shelter, food, emotional support and other necessities to those affected. By making a charitable donation to the Red Cross, you are there for millions of people who face emergencies every year and help as they rebuild their lives.
If you’re passionate about helping people and looking for a volunteer opportunity with a visionary humanitarian organization, you can make a difference with the American Red Cross in the Greater Carolinas. Adults and teenagers (aged 15-17) are encouraged to apply and engage in meaningful opportunities for education, training and community service.
Host a charity stream by playing your favorite video games while raising life-saving funds to help those in need. You can also fundraise your own way by energizing your community through celebrating a special occasion or being creative to help to those in need. Click a button below to get started!
