DFS has made a major donation to support the American Red Cross Super Typhoon Yutu relief efforts. The $60,000 gift ($50,000 for Saipan, $10,000 for Tinian) will be used to support families impacted by the catastrophic damage caused by Typhoon Yutu.
The Red Cross will be providing emergency supplies such as water, mosquito nets, coils and repellent, coolers, totes, buckets, blankets, hygiene supplies, cleaning kits, camp stoves, solar lanterns, coloring books for kids and many other important items. In addition, the Red Cross in the coming days, will be providing financial assistance to those with major damage to their homes.
“DFS is always there for the Red Cross, whether for our annual fundraising activities or during community wide disasters like Typhoon Yutu” said Larry Lee, Vice Chair of the NMI Red Cross Chapter.
Individuals interested in volunteering or making a donation to the Red Cross should stop by the office on airport road.
