Join us at the Heinz History Center for the 2024 Power of Red, the signature event of the American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter. The evening begins at 6 p.m. This year, the Power of Red will recognize civic leaders and heroic individuals who embody our humanitarian mission. Join us for cocktails, dinner and the celebration of heroes in our communities across southwestern Pennsylvania. This year, it is our pleasure to honor Wesco with the Distinguished Leadership Award. 6:00 to 9:30 p.m.
All hero nominations must be received by April 15, 2024 to be considered for the 2024 event. The heroic actions/service should have occurred between Jan. 1, 2021 – Dec. 31, 2023 (with the exception of the Military Hero Category). However, a hero can be recognized for their actions over multiple years. The nominee must either be from or currently residing in western Pennsylvania, but their heroic action(s) could have taken place anywhere.
