Attend at least one blood drive every three months to help with registration and engage with donors at the refreshment table. Each blood drive lasts about six hours.
Disasters can happen at any time. Be generally available to respond to local home fires and other emergencies. You’ll be trained in all necessary skills to provide comfort and care to neighbors who are displaced from their homes. In rural areas, expect to respond to home fires about once a month. The average disaster response requires two-to-four hours of volunteering.
Attend events and activities in your community to raise awareness around home fire safety and emergency preparedness.
