The American Red Cross Chestnut Ridge Chapter hosted the Eighth Annual Paint the County Red Gala at the Indiana Country Club on Country Club Road on Friday, March 15, 2019.
“The Paint the County Red Gala is a wonderful way to highlight the Red Cross mission in Indiana County while celebrating the volunteers, donors, and friends who make it all possible,” noted Tessie Amaranto, Red Cross Chestnut Ridge Chapter Executive Director.
The event featured live and silent auctions, as well as special door prizes. The Red Cross also used the occasion to recognize Diamond Drug and Medical Supply.
Amaranto added, “Diamond Drug and Medical Supply has a rich history of providing volunteer leadership and advocacy in support of our mission work. In addition, they have donated supplies for special events and initiatives, such as the Ride for the Red and our Service to the Armed Forces Totes of Hope; and following their purchase of our office building on Kolter Drive, has granted us in-kind office space in the building for the next five years, which has enabled us to stay in the same location people have come to know.”
The Red Cross would like to thank the following event Gold Sponsors for their support of this year’s Paint the County Red Gala: Diamond Drug and Medical Supply, Force Incorporated, The Reschini Group, First Commonwealth Bank, and GenOn Keystone and Seward Stations.
A special shout-out also needs to go to event auctioneer Mark Dixon, emcee Kate Braun, and band Told Ya So!
