PITTSBURGH, September 1, 2021— The American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania Region is supporting 26 residents evacuated due to flooding at Victoria Manor Personal Care Home in Oakdale.
The evacuation center was established at Penn Technical College in partnership with local agencies.
Tropical Depression Ida’s arrival in Pennsylvania continues to bring significant rainfall and numerous instances of flash flooding along with severe weather watches and warnings. The Red Cross is working with state and local officials to monitor conditions and respond to any flood or storm related disasters that occur.
