Kerrville, TX – June 20, 2025 – The Hill Country Chapter of the American Red Cross, serving Central and South Texas, will host a Be Red Cross Ready presentation at the Pioneer Memorial Library, located at 115 West Main Street, Fredericksburg, TX 78624, beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This free presentation is part of the Red Cross’s ongoing effort to help individuals and families prepare for emergencies. The program is designed to educate the public on how to understand, prepare for, and respond to disasters. Becoming “Red Cross Ready” means taking simple, practical steps to stay safe and comfortable during a crisis.

The session will focus on common disasters that affect the Hill Country area and provide actionable tips to reduce risk and improve readiness. Attendees will gain valuable insights into emergency preparedness and learn how to respond effectively when disaster strikes.

All community members are welcome—regardless of age or experience. We encourage everyone to attend and take this important step toward personal and community resilience.
