El Paso, TX, March 18, 2025 – The American Red Cross West Texas Chapter invites the community to an Open House at its chapter office on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. Join us in celebrating Red Cross Month and meet the dedicated volunteers and staff who serve the chapter.
This free, public event offers an opportunity to learn more about the Red Cross’s humanitarian services, connect with local volunteers, and discover ways to get involved. Attendees will also have the chance to sign up for free smoke alarm installations as part of the Red Cross Home Fire Campaign.
As part of the celebration, City of El Paso Mayor Renard Johnson will present a proclamation officially recognizing March as Red Cross Month.
“We are thrilled to share the vital work the Red Cross is doing here in El Paso and beyond,” said Anna Apodaca, Executive Director of the American Red Cross West Texas Chapter. “This event is a great opportunity for the community to meet our team, learn about our services, and see how we can work together to make a difference.”
