The American Red Cross of Northeast Wisconsin and Schneider is presenting the 5th Annual Heroes Classic Golf Outing. This fun-filled day will be a mix of in-person golf, a silent auction, a heroes recognition program focused on recognizing and inspiring community heroes and will provide engagement that benefits the mission of the Red Cross.
The mission of the Red Cross is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. One of the ways in which the Red Cross of Northeast Wisconsin accomplishes this mission is through our annual golf outing and a heroes recognition program. This event helps to provide funds to assist families who may have lost everything in a fire or other disaster, offer life-saving CPR training, collect lifesaving blood, and help military members and their families get the assistance they need.
We will honor individuals in Northeast Wisconsin who have shown courage, dedication and unselfish character by their acts of heroism at a post-golf heroes recognition program. These individuals will be recognized as they share their inspiring stories and will remind us to never doubt the impact an individual can make in the lives of others. Perhaps its someone who has saved a life, helped a neighbor in need or made a difference in their community.
Attendees and Golfers will come together on August 28th at Thornberry Creek at Oneida for a fun traditional golf event featuring:
- Food and beverages, on course games and contests, great golf, and camaraderie.
- A silent auction will take place at the course and a virtual auction for those who cannot attend in person.
- Four community heroes will be honored and celebrated at the post-golf reception.
A great opportunity to support the Red Cross and so much more!
