Tammy Moore serves as the Senior Advisor to the American Red Cross’, Service to the Armed Forces Division. In this role, she advises the American Red Cross, Senior Vice President of SAF on policy, strategy, and operational matters related to serving members of the United States Armed Forces, Veterans, and their families. Tammy is also a certified International Humanitarian Law instructor.
Tammy initiated and established a relationship between the American Red Cross National Headquarters and the Second Lady of the United States, Karen Pence, with Service to the Armed Forces as the nexus and through her work on the board of the Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN). MFAN hosted a reception in Tiffany Circle Hall for military children (and their families) receiving the Congressional Gold Medal Award. Immediately prior to the event, Gail McGovern hosted the Second Lady, Tammy and others, in her private office where they discussed the vital role that SAF serves to our nation’s heroes, their families, and veterans. This event marked the first formal engagement of Red Cross with the current administration and with our founding mission.
Tammy’s professional background is in finance and engineering with a Series 6 limited investment securities license. Tammy enjoys serving on the boards of a variety of Military and Veteran Service Organizations, the Arts, traveling, and tennis.
