The Chapter Chair is an active Tiffany Circle member with a focus on recruiting and retaining Tiffany Circle members and engaging membership in her local area.
The role of the Chapter Chair includes:
- Attending the virtual Chapter Chairs orientation as soon as practical after taking office
- Partner with the Chief Development officer and Major Gift officers to establish recruitment and retention goals and establish a schedule of donor and prospect visits
- Establish such committees and partnerships as needed to complete the work
- Reach out to the leaders in the regional chapters and ask them to assist in recruitment and the identification of local leadership
- Identify potential successors and committee chairs
- Promote and attend the Summit and as many mission opportunities as possible
- Communicate at least quarterly with your membership
- Personally thank each member annually
- Personally thank each new member and insure the member is on-boarded according to the guidelines
- Assist the gift officers in identifying other women's organizations that might provide a pool of diverse members
- Present an annual update to your Board
- Be prepared to present the Tiffany Story when asked to do so
- Lead by example
