Eleanor Morgan has been a member of Tiffany Circle for twelve years and is a Bonnie McElveen-Hunter member. She joined the Atlanta Tiffany Circle in Atlanta’s second year. She is currently serving her second 3-year term as a member of the Tiffany Circle National Council and is a member of the Communications & Resources committee. She has previously been the Atlanta Tiffany Circle Chair for four years and currently serves as co-chair. She has been a presenter at breakout sessions during Tiffany Circle Summit as well as representing Tiffany Circle and American Red Cross locally. Being able to represent the Red Cross Mission and help people to understand the complete scope of the lines of service has been a unique experience for Eleanor. For her, it is always exciting to see people begin to understand the depth and scope of what the Red Cross accomplishes with their volunteers.
As a member of the local Red Cross Blood Services board for four years Eleanor was able to gain an understanding of how critical blood donations are and how much effort goes into the process of getting blood to those who need it. Additionally, she has completed her second term on the Atlanta Metro Board and has experienced the region successfully combining the two boards to help represent the complete services of the Red Cross. She continues to be a member of the Steering Committee for the local Tiffany Circle in helping define the strategy for growth into the next ten years. One of the biggest surprises came when Eleanor received a Special Citation for Exceptional Volunteer Service from American Red Cross in 2017.
Eleanor has been CEO for several technology companies and continues to operate a consulting company. She enjoys opportunities to help develop other women in the business world and mentor others to understand the need for philanthropy both now and in the future. She also serves on a local non-profit board that works on breaking the cycle of homelessness, poverty, and domestic violence.
Down time will find Eleanor at her lake house in North Georgia enjoying her family, grandchildren and German Shepherd, Tiago.
