
Jan Tratnik is a retired consultant in Strategic Communications and Community Partnerships for Fortune 500 companies. Her corporate career encompassed thirteen years as Senior Director, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs for W.W. Grainger, Inc. where she led signature philanthropic programs including the company’s National Founding Sponsorships of the American Red Cross corporate disaster volunteer program, “Ready When the Time Comes”® and the American Red Cross Volunteer Connection online platform. Her earlier career included sixteen years leading communications and public affairs for Morton International, Inc. comprising the Morton Salt, specialty chemical and aerospace businesses.
Jan is Director Emeritus of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago and former Board Chair and a founding member of the Chicago Red Cross Tiffany Circle. Jan served as Co-Chair of the Tiffany Circle 10th Anniversary Summit and is a past Co-Chair of the American Red Cross Tiffany Circle National Council. She is the recipient of the American Red Cross President’s Award for Excellence and the Chicago Red Cross Wesbury Award for Board Leadership.
Jan resides in Evanston, Illinois with her husband Tim McPike.
