
Josie Tong is a Bonnie McElveen-Hunter Silver Member of the Tiffany Circle at $250K donor level. She has been a member of the Tiffany Circle Los Angeles Region since 2014 and a member of the Tiffany Circle National Council since 2017. She was the chair of the Tiffany Circle LA Region in 2017-2018. She has been a fan of the Red Cross since her childhood days in Taiwan and has been a Red Cross donor for almost 40 years. She started volunteering for the Red Cross in 2008, served on the Board of the Santa Monica Bay Chapter from 2011 to 2017, and has been on the Board of the Los Angeles Region since 2018.
Josie is a Certified International Property Specialist at Sotheby’s International Realty in Beverly Hills. In 2018, Josie represented the American Red Cross in the sale of their historic mansion and a Cultural Heritage Landmark, the Cravens Estate in Pasadena, California. Josie and her partner donated 100% of their 6-figure commissions and marketing expenses back to the Red Cross from this significant sale.
As a realtor with over 20 years of consulting, accounting, marketing and management expertise, she helps local and international buyers and sellers achieve their goals in the competitive real estate market. Josie is experienced in handling complex transactions, serving as a focal point between clients’ attorneys, private bankers, and advisors across multiple time zones around the world. She speaks fluent English, Mandarin, and Cantonese and holds a BA in accounting and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Josie develops her appreciation for different cultures through her love of travel, current affairs, art, and architecture. She is actively involved with the community. In addition to the Red Cross, she is on the Advisory Board of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Center and a member of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Decorative Art and Design Acquisition Committee. She is a frequent speaker at the Asian Real Estate Association of America. She is also a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, LA World Affairs Council, Pacific Palisades Woman’s Club, Pacific Palisades Chamber of Commerce, and Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce.
