Lori O’Flaherty is a veteran C-suite executive with extensive experience in banking and finance, most recently serving in numerous senior and executive management roles for CoBank, ACB. She served as both Chief Risk Officer and Chief Credit Officer, leading the development of a bank-wide Enterprise Risk Management infrastructure. She is skilled in corporate and commercial banking, with expertise in a number of business disciplines. Lori believes strongly in giving back to the communities where we all live and work, and in the power of philanthropic women. She has been very involved in non-profit work for the last twenty years. In working with the American Red Cross, Lori has been able to apply her leadership skills to an organization that she has great passion for. “To me, the Red Cross represents a pinnacle of servant leadership. The fundamental principles of humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality create a human network with impregnable values. With its mission to alleviate human suffering wherever it is found, the Red Cross performs so many services that go far beyond the disaster response for which it is known.” Lori has been a member of the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross since 2014. She has chaired the Volunteer, Mission and Capacity Committee, on which she sits, serving as a member of both the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee as well as the Executive Committee. Lori is the former Governance Committee Co-Chair for the Tiffany Circle National Council. Today, she is currently serving on the Colorado Tiffany Circle Steering Committee and serves as Co-Chair of the Tiffany Circle National Council Co-Chair.
O’Flaherty is currently the Audit Committee Chair, serving on the board of Alaska Power and Telephone Company. She previously held the role of a Board Observer and Member of the Board for P2bi, a fintech company and served on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado as Treasurer and Executive Committee member.
