Sherri Odell joined the Tiffany Circle National Council in 2023, after stepping up to help assist the Communications and Resources Committee with the national social media strategy for over a year. As a longtime volunteer with the organization, she has brought extensive knowledge of best practices and policies and assists with writing and editing stories for the various Tiffany Circle social media platforms.
Sherri joined the American Red Cross as a full-time volunteer in 2005, after seeing the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast. After serving for many years in Disaster Services, she eventually became a full-time member of the Communications and Public Affairs team in the Missouri-Arkansas region, where she predominantly works with social media strategy. In 2020, she joined the relatively new chapter of the Tiffany Circle in Greater Kansas City. In 2021, she was approached to join the Greater Kansas City and Northwest Missouri Board of Directors for the Red Cross, where she serves as the BioMed Committee Chairman, and the co-chair of the Mission Committee. Sherri has also been working as a volunteer with the national Gift Planning Officers with the Red Cross for several years in various capacities.
In her free time, Sherri enjoys her passions, which include traveling the world with her husband, Michael; cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs; and spending time with her large family, which includes her seven adult children, eleven (soon to be twelve!) grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
