Three-day event to focus on training both new and current volunteers
WASILLA, March 5, 2019 — The American Red Cross of Alaska will host its next Matanuska-Susitna area Disaster Training Institute from March 8-10 at the Red Cross of Alaska Mat-Su Office (851 Westpoint Dr. Suite 9B, Wasilla, AK 99654).
This multi-day training conference is designed to increase volunteer capacity for community preparedness and sheltering capacity, and Red Cross disaster response in the Mat-Su Borough and surrounding areas. Attendees will hail from a wide variety of backgrounds and locations, and will include longtime, new and potential Red Cross volunteers, employees and partners.
