The Red Cross honor heroes who have contributed to their mission through their actions and efforts.
On Saturday, March 17, 2018, the Hawaii Red Cross honored it's 2018 Volunteer Heroes at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. A welcome was provided by Governor David Ige and Mayor Kirk Caldwell present the Hawaii Red Cross with a Proclamation for March is Red Cross Month.
Each year, the Hawaii Red Cross honor heroes who have contributed to the American Red Cross mission through their actions and efforts. The kind, courageous, and selfless deeds of these heroes are directly linked to the Red Cross mission of preventing and alleviating human suffering. This event also recognized all Red Cross volunteers and supporters for their courage, kindness and unselfish character.
