WHAT IS RED CROSS MONTH
For nearly 80 years, U.S. presidents have proclaimed March as Red Cross Month to recognize people giving back through its lifesaving mission — which is powered by more than 90% volunteers.
GIVING DAY, MARCH 24
As part of Red Cross Month, the Red Cross invites you to be a part of Giving Day on March 24th. This year’s message is the #HelpCantWait. When your life is turned upside down by disaster, The Red Cross can help with emergency needs. This happens thanks to donations from generous community members and Giving Day is a time to join with thousands of other compassionate people in giving a gift that can provide shelter, food, relief items, emotional support and other assistance.
