HONOLULU, HI (July 27,2020) – Hawaii Red Cross volunteers have opened the following emergency shelter locations in Honolulu and Kauai Counties in response to Hurricane Douglas. As of midnight, there were a total of 455 people across 17 shelters (breakdown provided below). Emergency shelter locations that were either on stand-by or that had been previously opened in Hawaii County and Maui County have all been closed, and all clients cared for. Please stay informed with local new sources concerning storm updates.
