Shoni Anderson is a local 6-year-old who has battled leukemia, since being diagnosed in February 2021. She has received blood products several times throughout her treatments, and likely will require additional blood transfusions.
Shoni’s family is hosting a blood drive in her honor Wednesday, Aug. 17 at Passion Community Church in Decatur, and you are encouraged to come out and roll up a sleeve to give blood for all individuals who rely on blood donations. As a staple on the sidelines of Mt. Zion sporting events, it’s time to cheer on Shoni in her battle with cancer, by donating blood!
Wednesday, Aug. 17 | Noon to 6 p.m.
