WHAT:
The American Red Cross of Northwest IL will distribute emergency flood cleanup supplies along with authorities and community partners within Winnebago County. Red Cross volunteers will hand out clean-up kits, shovels, work gloves, rakes, dust masks among other items to Rockford residents whose homes were affected by recent flooding.

Anyone needing assistance due to the flooding in the Rockford and Freeport area should call the Red Cross Flood Helpline at (872) 529-1784.
Red Cross volunteer responders are currently in the affected communities working with residents to assess needs including lodging, food and mental health support.
