Tonight Red Cross volunteers are in Morris, Illinois supporting first responders battling an industrial fire. Volunteers are providing food and water to more than 300 emergency personnel.
In addition, Red Cross volunteers have set up a Reception Center and an overnight shelter to assist evacuated residents in need of a safe place to stay. The Red Cross will provide meals, snacks, water and disaster services such as health services support. Anyone who needs a safe place to stay due to the industrial fire evacuation is encouraged to come by. Masks are required at the shelter.
