The American Red Cross welcomes CNA executive to the regional Board of Directors
Volunteer Board of Directors includes more than 30 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds for the region that serves 9.5 million people in 21 counties in northern Illinois.
CHICAGO, IL (March 21, 2018) - The American Red Cross of Chicago & Northern Illinois is pleased to announce today the appointment of Joyce Trimuel to the organization’s Board of Directors.
Trimuel is currently the Chief Operations & Diversity Officer at CNA, providing leadership and developing and executing strategies for innovation and efficiency in CNA’s Operations department. She’s also responsible for leading efforts to develop and implement a diverse and inclusive culture within CNA and throughout the marketplace.
“Joyce’s years of experience and leadership skills surrounding diversity and inclusion bring more valuable perspective to our Board of Directors,” said Celena Roldán, chief executive officer of the American Red Cross of Chicago & Northern Illinois. “She is a great addition to our leadership team that serves the community through our humanitarian services and programs.”
Trimuel received her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Washington University’s Olin Business School in St. Louis.
