The American Red Cross of Northwest Illinois announces the appointment of Paula Anderson and Jeffrey Klarman to the board of directors. In November, Mr. Klarman began serving a two-year term as board chair. Members of the board are chosen based on their commitment to the Red Cross mission in combination with their individual expertise, experience and willingness to serve the needs of the board. The American Red Cross of Northwest Illinois is proud to present the new additions to the board of directors.
Paula Anderson operates HC Anderson Roofing Company with her husband, where she has served as Corporate Treasurer and Secretary for the past 21 years. Prior to founding the business, Paula worked with women and children affected with drugs, alcohol and domestic violence. She studied General Clerical at Rockford Business College.
Jeffrey Klarman co-owns KMK Media Group, an advertising and communications firm based in Rockford. Jeffrey is dedicated to helping others and has done so using his video production skills to contribute to different organizations such as the March of Dimes where he served for 13 years in various subcommittees. Since 2010, Jeffrey has been a volunteer with GiGi’s Playhouse in Rockford. As a volunteer, he produces videos and marketing materials to create awareness to Down Syndrome. Jeffrey is a graduate of Machesney Park’s Harlem High School.
