Volunteer disaster responders with the American Red Cross of Central Illinois are helping residents impacted by recent flooding in Peoria and Woodford counties.
The Red Cross is providing assistance to 41 individuals from Roanoke and Bartonville with temporary housing, food, health services, and information about recovery services. In addition, our volunteers are out in the community assessing the extent of the damage caused by flooding.
Clean-up kits for those impacted by flash flooding are available at the Roanoke Ambulance Service building, located at 101 N. Main St., Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. and the Bartonville Village Fire Department, located at 5912 S. Adams St. From 9 a.m.- 4 p.m.

Red Cross Support After Home Fires
In the past week, the Red Cross also responded to six fires in Danville, Manito, Roanoke, Urbana, including an incident in an apartment building fire in Cissna Park that displaced 10 individuals. Our volunteers helped a total 21 people including 18 adults and 3 children impacted by fires with temporary housing, health and mental health services and information about recovery services.
