With summer in full swing, the American Red Cross reminds you that the need for blood does not take a summer break. This time of year, blood donations are especially important to maintain a stable supply. The Red Cross saw a steep drop in blood and platelet donations last month, and donors are asked to make an appointment today to prevent a blood shortage this summer. Please join us at the Beach Bash Summer Blood Drive Friday, July 29 in Champaign!
