We are hosting a disaster response bootcamp training session in Quincy Saturday, Sept. 16. This event will provide disaster training and information to new and existing volunteers. No experience is necessary to sign up.

Just this past year, our disaster team helped nearly 900 people affected by more than 225 disasters in the Quad Cities and West Central Illinois chapter, alone. Volunteers make up 90 percent of the Red Cross workforce. Our disaster volunteers are trained to respond and assist those impacted by local and national disasters, including home fires, floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and more.
