The American Red Cross of Illinois is pleased to announce seven new members have joined the Central Illinois chapter’s Peoria area Board of Directors. The chapter welcomes Tim Gronewold as Chair of the Board, along with Emily Geerts, Lindsey Birkel, Jennifer Junis, Tim Bassett, Swaksha Kallepalli and Jacob Weinberg as board members.
Tim Gronewold is a partner for Howard & Howard Attorneys and has been actively involved with the Red Cross for more than a decade. He was named to the 2014 class of Peoria Magazine’s, “40 Leaders Under Forty”.
Emily Geerts is a banking advisor for PNC in Peoria and has worked for the company for 14 years, previously serving as a branch manager.
Lindsey Birkel is a lead HR manager in global construction and infrastructure for Caterpillar, Inc. She has worked for Caterpillar for nearly 17 years, in multiple roles.
Jennifer Junis is senior vice president for OSF OnCall digital health and has appeared in webinars and podcasts, discussing digital health programs.
Tim Bassett is president of POINTCORE Construction. He is an Illinois State University alum with expertise in facility master planning, capital allocation and strategic efforts.
Swaksha Kallepalli and Jacob Weinberg will be serving on the board as student representatives from Bradley University.
The Peoria area volunteer board includes approximately 20 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds.
