The American Red Cross Serving South Central Illinois is proud to announce that Renee Violett has joined its board of directors.
“We are thrilled to add new talent and energy to our incredible board of directors,” said Dawn Morris, Executive Director of the American Red Cross Serving South Central Illinois. “Board members serve as ambassadors, helping to build a more resilient community. We're grateful for Renee’s dedication and look forward to her support in the ongoing stewardship of the mission of the Red Cross.”
Renee Violett currently works as an occupational therapist for the Veterans Health Administration. She graduated from John A. Logan College in 2006 and further pursued her education attending Belmont University graduating with a master’s in occupational therapy in 2011. Renee is active within her community volunteering for the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois. In her free time, she enjoys fitness, being outdoors, and traveling.
The volunteer board includes civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds that serves people in 31 counties in South Central Illinois.
