WHEN: Tuesday, October 7 | 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
WHERE: American Red Cross, 610 S. Collett St., Lima, Ohio
Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition to see which department can recruit the most eligible blood donors to join them in this lifesaving effort. Donors at this drive will have the opportunity to cast their vote for Fire or Law Enforcement, and the group with the most votes will be declared the winner.

How to donate blood
A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age in most states (16 with parental consent where allowed by state law), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also must meet certain height and weight requirements.
