In response to the severe weather that impacted our region Friday evening, the American Red Cross has opened a shelter to support those affected.

Sherwood Oaks Christian Church
2700 E. Rogers Road, Bloomington, Indiana

Since Friday evening, Red Cross volunteers have been on-site providing a safe place to stay and comfort to anyone impacted and in need of assistance.

What to Bring:
Those coming to the shelter are encouraged to bring essential personal items for each family member, including:

• Prescription and emergency medications
• Extra clothing
• Pillows and blankets
• Hygiene supplies
• Important documents
• Other comfort items

The Red Cross helps anyone in need after a disaster, and everyone is welcome in our shelters. If you or someone you know has been impacted by the recent storms and needs assistance, please contact the American Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).
