During an emergency, it’s the blood already on the shelves that help save lives, and first responders know this firsthand. Next week, the Terre Haute Police and Fire Departments are joining forces to help save lives during a two-day Battle of the Badges Blood Drive.

The Battle of the Badges is a friendly competition to see which department can recruit the most eligible blood donors to join them in this lifesaving effort. The community is encouraged to give blood on Tuesday, September 29 and Wednesday, September 30 at the Terre Haute Police Department, 222 S 7^th Street, Terre Haute, IN 47807.

Presenting donors will receive a Battle of the Badges t-shirt, while supplies last.

Seasonal activities can disrupt normal routines, but donation appointments can’t fall off the calendar. Harvest hope for patients in need with a blood donation.
