The Greater Indianapolis Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region is proud to announce the addition of the following new board members:
Brian Hylander is the Vice President and General Counsel for the AES Indiana Electric utility and its sister electric utility in Ohio. Brian earned a law degree from the University of Michigan Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Providence College.
Captain Frederick Ilnicki is an officer with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and has been a part of the department since 1988. He is currently assigned to the Operations Division, Special Operations Bureau and Traffic Division.
Lauren James is the Executive Director of the Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation (MDLF), a nonprofit advancing its mission to “Enable Leaders. Drive Change.” Lauren graduated with a degree in urban planning and development from Ball State University, holds a certificate in Nonprofit Executive Leadership from the Lilly School of Philanthropy and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Poland, where she served as a cultural ambassador and lecturer at the University of Wrocław.
Pradeep Karunakaran is the Vice President at Solventum, where he leads Strategy, Continuous Improvement (CI), Program Management Office (PMO), and Mergers & Acquisitions. Pradeep has more than 20 years of global leadership experience driving enterprise strategy, operational excellence, business transformation, and profitable growth across complex, multinational organizations.
Aaron Lawson is a Sales Executive at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). Aaron is a graduate of Indiana University and has more than eight years of experience selling premium suites and sponsorship at IMS.
Melissa Roberts is the Vice President of Engagement for the CEOs of Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP). Roberts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and holds a master’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Dr. David Roe is a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital, where he directs the Advanced Lung Disease and Lung Transplant programs. He is also an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
The Greater Indianapolis Chapter of the American Red Cross Indiana Region is also proud to announce Ivory Salmon as its new Board Chair. Ivory joined the board in 2023 and is also a member of the Indiana Region Tiffany Circle, which dedicates its time, talent and treasure to advance the Red Cross mission.
The American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis volunteer board includes more than 20 civic and corporate leaders from a range of professional backgrounds and serves five counties across the Greater Indianapolis area. A full list of members can be found here.
