The Indiana Region Red Cross will close shelters located at the Lincoln School and Ohio Township Fire Department on Sunday, January 12 at noon CST.
Since Monday, Red Cross volunteers and disaster workers have provided shelter, warm meals, and comfort and care to those impacted by severe winter weather. The closing of emergency shelters is a sign that parts of the community are beginning to recover, as residents are making plans for their next steps or returning home.
Those impacted by severe winter weather can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) for assistance.
