Do you like to help people? Would you like the opportunity to be there for others when disaster strikes? The American Red Cross invites you to join our disaster team as a volunteer!
We are hosting a disaster response training session on Friday, April 5th in Warsaw.
During this one-day training, individuals will learn the necessary skills required to respond in the immediate aftermath of a disaster, including home fires. Trainees will learn about the various aspects of local disaster response, including handling casework and assisting families. Certified and experienced instructors who are members of our Disaster Action Team will provide step-by-step information to those in attendance. No experience is necessary to sign up.
Immediately following this course, new volunteers will be eligible to join the Indiana Red Cross Disaster Action Team and provide assistance to those impacted by disasters in their community.
